Web13 feb. 2011 · Here is my method for mating hard to soft fuel lines. Rather than making half a flare I used 5/16" and 1/4" compression fittings to create some homemade "barbs" on the steel lines. Install a compression fitting as if you were going to use it conventionally, then remove the coupling.
